Community Meeting 1
On November 11, 2025, the City and Planning Team welcomed more than 50 community members to Alpharetta City Hall for an interactive community meeting focused on shaping Alpharetta’s future. To provide flexible opportunities for participation, the meeting was offered in both a lunchtime and evening session. Participants took part in two hands-on activities, sharing ideas, perspectives, and local knowledge that will directly inform the 2045 Comprehensive Plan.
Additionally, a public survey remained open throughout November and December 2025, providing a convenient digital opportunity for community members to share their perspectives on many of these same topics. More than 450 community members participated, and the survey results can be viewed here.
Community Meeting 2
The second community meeting for the Alpharetta Comprehensive Plan update was held across two separate sessions to provide flexible opportunities for participation: a lunchtime session on March 10 and an evening session on March 17, 2026. More than 40 participants took part across the two meetings, providing input on the major themes that have emerged through technical research, stakeholder conversations, and prior public engagement.
Activities were organized around key topic areas including Growth Management, North Point, Economic Resilience and Office, Parks/Trails/Greenspace and Trees, and a “Big Ideas” station that invited participants to react to broader long-term opportunities for the city. Together, the sessions helped further refine community priorities, highlight areas of broad agreement, and identify where future planning direction should remain especially thoughtful and context-sensitive.
