Project Overview
With the City of Binghamton's recent acquisition of the Binghamton Plaza property, the City has engaged MKSK to lead the creation of a redevelopment and vision plan for the future of the plaza property. This process began in early 2026, and will include site analysis of existing conditions, regional market studies, exploration of alternative scenarios for redevelopment of the site, community and stakeholder engagement, and the determination of a preferred scenario for the future of the site complete with an implementation strategy.
This website will serve as a central location for project updates and engagement for the community. Information about engagement opportunities both online and in-person will be shared here along with meeting materials.
Check out our vision board to leave your thoughts and see what other community members have to say! We look forward to hearing from you about your goals and insights on how this plaza can reshape our City's riverfront and improve the North Side neighborhood.
