Community Engagement Events - Listen & Learn

The City of Verona held the first public open house for the Envision Verona Comprehensive Plan on April 22, 2025. The community was invited to help shape the future of Verona. Two (2) public events were held on Tuesday, April 22nd. The community was encouraged to attend and contribute.

The events were an open house, drop-in format with stations dedicated to different topics regarding the City and did not include a presentation. Staff from the City and the planning firm MKSK were on hand to talk about the Envision Verona process and answer any questions. The events were interactive with activities for adults and children to inform the future of Verona.

Community Engagement Events - Reveal and Refine

The City of Verona held the second public open house for the Envision Verona Comprehensive Plan on September 30th, 2025. Two (2) public events were held on September 30th, 2025. The community was invited to attend and contribute their thoughts on plan progress, visual preferences and talk with staff about the comprehensive plan.

The event was an open house, drop-in format with stations dedicated to different topics within the comprehensive plan. Staff from the city and the planning team were at the event to talk about the Envision Verona plan progress, future land use, next steps and answer any questions. The events were interactive for all ages.
